Poppy WS is a musician, songwriter, and producer based in Worcester, UK fusing acoustic and electronic music with folk, funk & downtempo alternative influences.

Coming from the beginnings as a busker, she has spent 7 years in the business as an artist, building her way up into a multi-instrumentalist performer supporting Seal for his 2016 tour at Bridgewater Hall, playing for BBC Introducing at Lakefest, as well as appearing on BBC 6's Fresh On The Net list for her song 'Someone Else'.

In 2019 she travelled to New York after being invited by Billy Joel's Bassist to play a gig in the famed venue The Bitter End.

As a keen traveller, her songwriting is influenced by the world, new experiences and freedom to choose your own way of living. Artistic influences include Zero 7, Jungle, Moby & Radiohead.

Following the release of three singles early this year, she will be releasing her fully self-produced album 'Along The Way' on 14th June 2024.
